Content Managed Websites

Content Managed Websites utilise a content management system (CMS) to allow customers to keep the information on their website up to date without having to know any HTML, CSS, PHP or any other equally elusive web design code.

I-Tel will build your own 'Admin Area' as an extension of the site that clients and normal viewers cannot access. The 'Admin Area' will give you access to your control panel and allow you to keep the website up to date yourself.

What do you mean CMS?

Normal websites (business card websites, information websites) are described as 'static' i.e. the text on them never changes (unless you get your design company to edit them). Content Managed Websites use a database which holds important information; products, email addresses, jokes etc. and this information is pulled from the database in a certain way to generate the pages (so called dynamic pages).

E-Commerce websites are slightly more advanced Content Managed Websites i.e. allowing account registration, card payments and much more.
